To make the transition easier for students entering kindergarten, sixth grade and ninth grade, as well as for students who attend Husky Academy and the International Welcome Center (IWC), Ritenour is hosting special Transition Day activities on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025 to acclimate them to their new schools.
The Ritenour community celebrated Ritenour High School’s 107th Commencement on May 31 as its largest class in 15 years - 454 graduates - crossed the stage at Chaifetz Arena.
To help with the transition to kindergarten, Ritenour offers a free half-day camp July 28-Aug. 1 for incoming kindergartners at each of the district's six elementary schools. Students must be enrolled in the district to attend the camp.
The Ritenour School District will host its first Back-to-School Resource Fair on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon at Ritenour High School, 9100 St. Charles Rock Road, to help ensure that students and families are ready for a successful start to the new school year. The event is held in conjunction with the annual vaccination clinic at RHS.

Dr. Matthew Macko has been named the assistant principal at Marion Elementary, and Jennifer Nilges will serve as the new assistant principal at Marvin Elementary.
For the first time in recent memory, the courtyard at Ritenour Middle School is a bustling living, learning space designed and built by students.
The Ritenour High School class of 2025 has a dozen student-athletes who will pursue their athletic careers in college beginning this fall.
